Marcello Pelillo
Professor of Computer Science
Marcello Pelillo is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Venice, Italy, where he leads the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognotion group. He held visiting research positions at Yale University, McGill University, the University of Vienna, York University (UK), the University College London, and the National ICT Australia (NICTA). He serves on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence and Pattern Recognition, and is regularly on the program committees of the major international conferences in his fields. He is a Fellow of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
