He received the Ph.D in Computer Science at the University of Turin and from 1997 he taught at the Universities of Turin, Verona and Venice. Dr. Pravato is currently a guest Professor of Computer Science at the University "Ca' Foscari" of Venice, and President of Prosa, a software consulting company.
He is married with Corina. They have two sons: Giacomo and Giovanni.

  

Research interests cover the study of new modalities for the definition of User Interfaces. Past experiences covered the Semantics of lambda-calculus and functional programming languages.
