I was born in Venice, Italy, on December 14, 1975 and received in 1999 the "Laurea"
degree (summa cum laude) in Computer Science from the University of Venice "Ca' Foscari".
In 2004, I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Consortium of Universities of Bologna, Padova and Venice.
My main research interests are in the areas of clustering and unsupervised learning with an emphasis on optimization and
graph-theoretic issues as well as applications to computer vision.
