San Servolo hosts the Venice International University, an International Consortium of several Universities world-wide. The island of San Servolo is easily reachable via boat in 10 mins from Piazza San Marco (Riva degli Schiavoni, in front of the Londra Palace Hotel, stop "San Zaccaria"): you can check the boat schedule online.
